Tears was released on the same album as Little J.J, but was not recorded until nearly a full year later—December 30, 1992, for Little J.J. and December 10, 1993, for Tears. During that time, Rob was working extensively with the Nat Adderley Quintet, with whom he frequently toured.
Boston-native Rob Bargad is an accomplished pianist, organist, composer, songwriter, arranger, producer and teacher. In 1984 he began his jazz career accompanying Little Jimmy Scott and Dakota Staton in New York City. He toured the United States as the pianist for vibes master Lionel Hampton, the Harper Brothers and most notably, the late cornetist Nat Adderley.
